Arjunamurthy Ra Career
Arjunamurthy Ra has been a political adviser to Murasoli Maran, one of the key leaders of the DMK. After his demise, he left the DMK and joined the BJP. He was first the head of the business wing of the Tamil Nadu BJP. He later became the state president of the BJP’s intellectual wing. His wife is a schoolmate of Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
Arjunamurthy, who manages various businesses, has been closely associated with the national leaders of the BJP. It is said that Arjunamurthy was the main reason for the Vail Yathirai carried out by the Tamil Nadu BJP. It is learned that a detailed plan for this has been submitted to the state president L. Murugan.
Arjunamurthy has been arrested by the police and released after attending the Vail Yathirai in Palani. It was only last November that he celebrated his 100th day as the head of the intellectual wing of the Tamil Nadu BJP. It is noteworthy that just hours before Rajini’s press conference, he wrote a letter to the state leadership of the BJP stating that he was leaving the party.
