Title Controversary
Initially, the film has been titled as Laxmii Bomb. A legal notice was sent to the filmmakers to remove the film title on behalf of Shri Rajput Karni Sena. In the notice, the film title was disrespectful to Goddess Laxmi so filmmakers changed their movie title to Laxmii.
Laxmii Story
The film is the tamil remake of Muni-Kanchana 2. Akshay Kumar playing the role of Raghava Lawrence and Kiara Advani playing the role of Tapsee Pannu. So the story remains the same and the rest of the crew members only altered for Hindi version.
