Earlier Life/Family

Shriya Sharma was born on 9 April 1997 in Palampur, Himachal Pradesh. Her father’s name is Vikas Sharma and beautiful mother’s name is Ritu Sharma. She completed her Bachelor’s Degree from Mumbai University. Her father is working in an engineering field and her mother is a dietician. She has one younger brother named yaju.

Career

Shriya Sharma has a keen interest in the cinema field. She started to work in the television industry from childhood. She made her acting debut in the Jai Chiranjeeva as a child artist. From there she started to work in many films including Sillunu Oru Kaadhal, Neethane En Ponvasantham in Tamil cinema. Shriya Sharma is famous among the Tamil audience for her child artist role in Silunu Oru Kadhal. The movie gave her a breakthrough for her career to start to work in many films in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi. She has done several films including Laaga Chunari Mein Daag, Prem Kaa Game, and Knocks Out

Shriya Sharma also featured in many Telugu films including Mahesh Babu starring Dookudu and Ram Charan starring Racha. After many films as a child artist and supporting role, She finally made her acting debut as a lead role in the film Gayakudu along with Ali Reza. But that movie not fulfilled her expectation. After that, she has done only two films after Gayakudu. She last appeared in the G. Naga Koteswara Rao film Nirmala Convent. She is got awarded by National Film Award for Best Child Artist 2011 for her role in Chillar Party.

She also worked in many serial from 2005 onwards.
